Here are some quarter panel shots of the various 1955 models. Some sources claim the 300 used Windsor quarter panels; personally I don't see any difference except for the Windsor's small round backup lamps. I would tend to think that the Windsor quarter panel thing is inaccurate, because it would make little or no sense to graft identical quarter panels onto a New Yorker, especially from a car that is the same size with the same wheelbase. I think the confusion arose from the usage of Windsor rear quarter panel moldings. |

| The C300's rear bumper appears to be the same as the Windsor's, including the chrome trim strip above it. The New Yorker and Imperial had their own bumper designs. Wheel covers came right off the Imperial but had a checkered flag center. |
