The Original Prototype for the 300

Nobody at Chrysler Corporation wants to admit to this, but this picture is the only surviving image of the original prototype for the 300. This alleged car was developed in late 1952 by Chrysler Engineer Waldo "Wild Man" Stupidowsky, inset above. It was originally called the C200,  because $200.00 was Waldo's original budget. I think he did a good job considering what he had to work with, mentally and otherwise. The C200 was able to get 0-60 in three days, and finished the quarter mile sometime during the month of September. Notice the 331 hemi and the nice wire wheels. All it needed was a leather seat to go with the buzzard poop, and it would have sold like crazy. Sorry, Waldo, no offense. Whereabouts of the original prototype, like Waldo, are unknown.
