| So
what's up with this, you ask? Another generic 300 site with pictures of
"my car" in various stages of disassembly? No, not this time.
I'm sure you've seen enough rust already. What I want to do here is
present historical information, pictures, technical bulletins, road tests,
magazine articles, showroom literature,
vintage ads, paint charts, stories of my own experiences with 300s, and anything else that would be of interest to Chrysler 300
letter car enthusiasts.
I have been a member of the Chrysler 300 Club International Inc. since approximately 1976. Gee, has it been that long? Time flies when you're scraping your knuckles. I briefly belonged to what we call the "western" 300 club as well, and am a WPC member. I hosted a 300 Club national meet at Mystic, Connecticut in 1978, started the New England Chapter along with the late Bill Dahms, and was for a time the technical director for the 300G. I have owned a 300G, and currently own 2 300K hardtops which are under way. I also own a beautiful 1959 Dodge Royal Lancer coupe. I haven't been to a national 300 Club meet in a long time due to the demands of self employment, but who knows, I may just show up one day. I also fool around with web design, so this is my creation for better or worse. Where it will go I have no idea, I guess that depends on how much stuff I can upload without going broke paying for the server space. I have a lot of stuff going back 30 years, and spend a lot of time surfing for additional material. If I post a picture of your car, I probably didn't ask permission; there simply isn't enough time or ability. Since this is not for profit, no copyright infringement is intended. I will give credit where possible. Feel free to download whatever you need from this site. Special thanks in advance to the Chrysler 300 Club International Inc. and its members, The west coast Chrysler 300 Club, J.C. Auto Restoration, Barrett-Jackson Auctions, Kruse International, Trombino's of France, Muscle Car Restorations, The W.P.C. Museum, The Imperial Owners' Club, The Harrah Collection, WPC Club, Crossram Motors, Auburn Indiana Car Museum, Chrysler Corporation, and a host of others. Logos, etc. are the property of Chrysler Corporation and are used here only for the promotion of the Chrysler 300 marque. Some of the cars pictured herein are not factory original, or are painted colors that do not appear to be original available Chrysler 300 colors. Some have wire wheels, chrome dress up kits, or other accessories that are not original. As for the color listed for each picture, I may be incorrect on some due to the vagaries of photography, especially the red and yellow cars. Some red colors that appear not to be red but contain the name red in their title will be called red. There is no implied certification that any image you see here is representative of originality except Chrysler Corporation press shots. Please defer to the Chrysler 300 Club judges for that. Any other mistakes are mine, all corrections welcome! Feel free to contribute material. If you would like to add your 300 to the site, send a very good quality photo via email. Digital photos are best, scans are usually fuzzy. Large file sizes are fine, I'll reduce them myself. I am hoping that this can someday be considered THE archive on the internet for the 300 letter cars. Enjoy. |
